One resident at NWP was overly excited about todays arrival of HAY! George, was so excited he literally could not wait to start chowing down. Don't worry, the tractor came to a holt and patiently waited as George enjoyed his all you can eat buffet.
A total of 7, locally sourced, bales, each weighing approx 100lbs were hauled onto the farm today for everyone to enjoy in our very nice 20 something degree weather. That is, after George gives it a little taste test first; For the safety of his animal friends of course.
The consumption of hay provides many advantages to our animals including necessary nutrients they need especially in the colder months.
After a few minutes, George gave the all clear on the hay and it was up for grabs to the rest of the NWP residents.
